Hello everyone! Today I bring you a different kind of post. These past few days I've been going crazy designing a tattoo that I plan on getting next month. I won't share yet what I'm getting but I'm really excited with the design I'm putting together.

This small journey of deciding what to get and where made me remember the usual questions I get when someone discovers I already have five tattoos. They're small so usually nobody notices them. I even remember talking to a tattoo artist when we were trying to design my sixth (it didn't happen in the end) and he thought it was going to be my first. Apparently I don't seem like a person who likes tattoos and getting tattooed.

So today I'm going to share with you the frequently asked questions I get and why sometimes they annoy me.

1. Do you realize that they're permanent and you're going to have them when you're like 60 years old?

Well yes. I do. And if I don't like them then I can get them removed and If I like them, which probably I will, they will keep me company until they cremate me and share my ashes with the fishes.

2. Did they hurt? Do they worth the pain?

Yes they hurt. Some more than others. It's not like someone is tickling you. It is a needle going into your skin, not a feather caressing your skin. And I knew this before getting tattooed so yes they worth the pain. It's not like they are killing you.

3. What would your family think?

My parents are really cool with them. Don't get me wrong, they don't like tattoos and they wouldn't get them but they respect that I like them and also that I am 27 years old living on my own in another country... They trust me and it's not like I'm going to ink my face.

4, Shouldn't they mean something?

Should they? In a way sometimes I think of tattoos as art. Not that mine are really elaborated (I've got a tiny arrow on a wrist, there's no art in that) but I think that if it doesn't mean anything it's not a big deal. Some of mine mean something, some don't.

5. Aren't you afraid of not getting the job of your dreams because of them?

No. At least not here in Belfast. Maybe in Spain they're more picky although I've never had any problems but here I feel people don't really care about your tattoos, only about if you're good at your job or not.

6. What would your kids think of you?

I don't know. That I'm a cool mom? A weird mom? A normal mom? They may like them, they may not. What I'm sure is that they won't get any tattoos until they're 18. Then they can do whatever they want. It's their skin. It would be very hypocrite to deny them their freedom if they want a design that I don't like, I just want them to be sure of the consequences.

This week I felt confident enough to go to a crowded place like the Botanic Gardens and shoot some photos of the outfit I was wearing.

This shirt/jacket is my favourite of the year and I've been wearing it nonstop. Being able to wear it without a coat over it was a total bless so I wanted to show you the entire outfit.

I just really love the way this shirt goes with everything. Skirts, jeans, dresses... Although my favourite way to wear it is with ripped jeans and a t-shirt.

I'm also in love with all the details on it. And obviously the Captain America shield is my favourite one. I just love to wear it over my Winter Soldier t-shirt. (Nerd alert!)

Also, I'm wearing my favourite handbag. It can be worn crossed or on one shoulder. And I like to throw in some more details so I added a sonic screwdriver. (Again, nerd alert)

I hope you like this outfit or that it inspires you to achieve some great looks.

I'm sure everybody has or has had by the time they're 27 a skincare routine that works for them. Well, in my case, I've been struggling with my skin and getting zits and spots and a terrible redness in one of my cheeks. Sometimes ones that even makeup couldn't cover. I tried millions of products and none of them seemed to work. Or at least they didn't work for long.

But today I can say I'm finally happy with the skincare routine I've had for the last few months. I'm still a work in progress but my skin looks better than it had six months ago. The redness is almost gone and although the acne marks can be seen (they will take a long time to disappear), they don't bother me as much as they did previously. If I can make them disappear with makeup, I'm happy.

"So, Maria, what have you done? What changed?" you will be asking. Well, I introduced three new products in my life.

The first one is the Tea Tree Clay Mask by The Body Shop. I used the Tea Tree cream and it was doing good to my skin but I couldn't stand the smell. It's not bad, on the contrary, but I'm really picky with smelly creams. Well, with creams in general, I won't lie. I can't even stand to apply sunscreen on myself or others. I either use a spray or have someone to do it for me.

Back on the mask. It says to use twice a week for 10-15 minutes but I have been using it every 6 days for 10 minutes. I know my skin and it doesn't do well with masks so I didn't want to risk it. And it has worked perfectly!

The texture is soft, has a lovely green colour that suits me good with my blue eyes and it doesn't smell as bad as the Tea Tree Lotion. And also it's just once a week so I can stand it. I'm not a coward. I came here to win and have the most beautiful skin ever.

The second product is on the pricey side but it's a long lasting one. It's Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I only use it to remove my makeup and following the instructions. It removes every mascara that I've used (even the waterproof ones). I haven't tried it yet with the Benefit They're Real but I'm planning on doing it soon.

Finally, the third product is the Aloe Gentle Facial Wash. It's a foam from The Body Shop that I use twice a day. One in the morning when I wake up and one before going to bed or after I remove my makeup. With the Liz Earle product you're supposed to splash your face with cold water afterwards. What I do is first use the foam and then clean it all with cool water.

The foam is really gentle, it barely smells (so that's a win for me) and leaves my skin really soft and with a calm sensation.

Long time no see!

It HAS been a long time since my last post but I'm back again with more ideas and a lot to share. As you may know I recently moved to a new flat in Belfast so it has been a crazy journey but now that I've finally settled, I can take care of my baby that is this beautiful and renovated blog.

First, I want to introduce you to a new series of "Get The Look". I decided to find some styles that I like and tell you where you can find the same clothes or similar ones.

I found this photo of Elle Fanning browsing through Tumblr and I really liked her style here. She always makes bold fashion statements and sometimes I don't like what she wears but there are many times where I've thought how beautiful she looks with the fashion choices she makes.

What I like about this look is the simplicity of it. I'm always inclined to dress with comfy jeans, dresses... That's why I totally love this look on her. Also, if you have legs for days like Elle, this dress will make wonders.

I found these three different dresses on H&M that look very similar to Elle's. The first one is loose like hers but has a turtleneck. Also, if you want a more tightened dress there's the second option: a light grey dress very similar to hers but more fitted. And if you want to combine a turtleneck and a tight dress, there is the third option.

Finally, if you want to make a statement or maybe not freeze while going to uni, I bring to you this last option. A loose grey dress from Pull & Bear. And as you may see, the model also styles with a pair of chunky boots.

For the shoes, Lately I've found myself liking mor chunky boots or cut out boots than more simply ones so I'm bringing you a variety of options to combine with these dresses.

The first three are from H&M. The first one is a simple ankle boot that looks like Elle's on this outfit. The second one is one of my favourites and I'm not a high heel person but I find these kind of boots so comfortable that I find them a great option to wear with this outfit. And finally, the third one will work for those cold days or if you don't feel like showing a lot of skin. Any choice would be perfect.

And these other three boots are from Pull&Bear. The first one is also one of my favourites as I love these military-like boots. The cut out boots can also work with this outfit and also can be worn with some cool socks to give the look a little bit of fun. The leather-like knee-high boots are a little bit fancier than the H&M ones and give a smart vibe to the look.

Choosing the best bag to go with this outfit has been a real struggle. I'm addicted to bags and I tend to love them all. I've forced myself to choose only two and these are the winners:

Both are from ZARA and the one with the feather is my favourite. It gives such a chic look to the bag that I absolutely want to have it in my possession. The second one is also really pretty and I like that it has a golden chain instead of being silver.

I have been living in Belfast for the last three months. I came in August with the idea of getting a job in Dublin but stayed here because there is something about this city that made me love her more than I ever imagined I would. Because of that I decided to write this post telling you what has been my weekly night routine.

I have never been a girl that loved partying every night. I also never got the chance to go out every night as the city that I'm from has a lack of night activity. But here everything changed. Maybe because of the people I was living with or maybe because I told myself to enjoy every moment of life. All in all I decided to write a post where I can share the best places to go in Belfast each night.

MONDAY

This is my favourite night of all and I love starting the post writing about this day. There is a band called The Buckmad Bhoys and they play every monday in Fibber Magee's. They are nothing and everything you would expect from an Irish band. They of course sing the classics (Wild Rover, Galway Girl, Molly Malone,,,) in the best way possible but on top of that they make Irish versions of popular songs. My favourite one has to be Madonna's "Like a Virgin". They make an exceptional version of this song worth coming back to Fibber Magge's every monday.

TUESDAY 

Laverys is the one of the oldest pubs in Belfast and although in the inside it has been renovated, downstairs has the most Irish vive in the entire building. It has different areas and my favourite one is where you can play pool while listening to the latest hits. But above all, the main reason we would go on tuesdays is because the Game of Thrones cast used to be there while filming. It is no secret if you are on social media that Kit Harington of Iwan Rheon have been spotted there several times.

Also, every Tuesday you can have a laugh at The Empire as they host a "Comedy Night" for only £8. It is really a bargain.

WEDNESDAY

On wednesdays, we usually went on pub crawls. If you're not familiar with this term, it means that we would take the guests to several pubs in one night. There are a lot of Irish pubs in Belfast but our favourite ones were Duke of York (pictured above), Whites Tavern and The Dirty Onion. Of all these, my first choice would be Duke of York, not only for its beautiful decorations but also because often there would be live music, Irish of course, and they have the most amazing singers. Also, the exterior is decorated with different flags going from side to side the street and flowers all over the walls. The Dirty Onion is across the street and in the middle there is a narrow alleyway where we can see street artwork.

THURSDAY

Not leaving The Empire behind, on thursdays they also host a "Blues Night" and let me tell you that they have one of the best bands playing. Once, I went there with a friend from New Orleans and he said that the music made him feel like home. In addition to having blues every thursday, The Empire is also known for having cover bands such as Kings of Lyon or Four Fighters.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY

The Filthy Quarter is a really interesting place to go. Not only because they hosted the Game of Thrones wrap party this year, which I had the opportunity to attend, but also because it has four different atmospheres. First there's Filthy McNastys, a quirky decorated area where usually live music would amuse the evening. Second, The Secret Garden. An area with different and more actual music with two different floors. It is outside so it's ideal for smokers but don't fear the cold nights because there's heaters everywhere. The third area is the cozy Filthy Chic where they prepare the best cocktails in the area. Finally the last area is The Gypsy Lounge where the most famous Northern Ireland DJ's play a mix of alternative party tracks and indie anthems.

SUNDAY

Kelly's Cellars is actually the oldest pub in Belfast. It was built in 1720 and you can sense that vibe the moment you enter into the pub. Every time that I have gone inside there has been a band playing and they are really good. Also, there is a part of the pub decorated with stickers all around the world and I found myself very surprised when I saw some ones from the Basque Country, where I was born.

This outfit is one that can inspire you to style your everyday clothes. I usually choose comfy clothes. I like to feel free and not dress in tight clothes neither high heels (but that can happen also in the future, don't judge me).
