Hello everyone! Today I bring you a different kind of post. These past few days I've been going crazy designing a tattoo that I plan on getting next month. I won't share yet what I'm getting but I'm really excited with the design I'm putting together.

This small journey of deciding what to get and where made me remember the usual questions I get when someone discovers I already have five tattoos. They're small so usually nobody notices them. I even remember talking to a tattoo artist when we were trying to design my sixth (it didn't happen in the end) and he thought it was going to be my first. Apparently I don't seem like a person who likes tattoos and getting tattooed.

So today I'm going to share with you the frequently asked questions I get and why sometimes they annoy me.

1. Do you realize that they're permanent and you're going to have them when you're like 60 years old?

Well yes. I do. And if I don't like them then I can get them removed and If I like them, which probably I will, they will keep me company until they cremate me and share my ashes with the fishes.

2. Did they hurt? Do they worth the pain?

Yes they hurt. Some more than others. It's not like someone is tickling you. It is a needle going into your skin, not a feather caressing your skin. And I knew this before getting tattooed so yes they worth the pain. It's not like they are killing you.

3. What would your family think?

My parents are really cool with them. Don't get me wrong, they don't like tattoos and they wouldn't get them but they respect that I like them and also that I am 27 years old living on my own in another country... They trust me and it's not like I'm going to ink my face.

4, Shouldn't they mean something?

Should they? In a way sometimes I think of tattoos as art. Not that mine are really elaborated (I've got a tiny arrow on a wrist, there's no art in that) but I think that if it doesn't mean anything it's not a big deal. Some of mine mean something, some don't.

5. Aren't you afraid of not getting the job of your dreams because of them?

No. At least not here in Belfast. Maybe in Spain they're more picky although I've never had any problems but here I feel people don't really care about your tattoos, only about if you're good at your job or not.

6. What would your kids think of you?

I don't know. That I'm a cool mom? A weird mom? A normal mom? They may like them, they may not. What I'm sure is that they won't get any tattoos until they're 18. Then they can do whatever they want. It's their skin. It would be very hypocrite to deny them their freedom if they want a design that I don't like, I just want them to be sure of the consequences.

I'm sure everybody has or has had by the time they're 27 a skincare routine that works for them. Well, in my case, I've been struggling with my skin and getting zits and spots and a terrible redness in one of my cheeks. Sometimes ones that even makeup couldn't cover. I tried millions of products and none of them seemed to work. Or at least they didn't work for long.

But today I can say I'm finally happy with the skincare routine I've had for the last few months. I'm still a work in progress but my skin looks better than it had six months ago. The redness is almost gone and although the acne marks can be seen (they will take a long time to disappear), they don't bother me as much as they did previously. If I can make them disappear with makeup, I'm happy.

"So, Maria, what have you done? What changed?" you will be asking. Well, I introduced three new products in my life.

The first one is the Tea Tree Clay Mask by The Body Shop. I used the Tea Tree cream and it was doing good to my skin but I couldn't stand the smell. It's not bad, on the contrary, but I'm really picky with smelly creams. Well, with creams in general, I won't lie. I can't even stand to apply sunscreen on myself or others. I either use a spray or have someone to do it for me.

Back on the mask. It says to use twice a week for 10-15 minutes but I have been using it every 6 days for 10 minutes. I know my skin and it doesn't do well with masks so I didn't want to risk it. And it has worked perfectly!

The texture is soft, has a lovely green colour that suits me good with my blue eyes and it doesn't smell as bad as the Tea Tree Lotion. And also it's just once a week so I can stand it. I'm not a coward. I came here to win and have the most beautiful skin ever.

The second product is on the pricey side but it's a long lasting one. It's Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I only use it to remove my makeup and following the instructions. It removes every mascara that I've used (even the waterproof ones). I haven't tried it yet with the Benefit They're Real but I'm planning on doing it soon.

Finally, the third product is the Aloe Gentle Facial Wash. It's a foam from The Body Shop that I use twice a day. One in the morning when I wake up and one before going to bed or after I remove my makeup. With the Liz Earle product you're supposed to splash your face with cold water afterwards. What I do is first use the foam and then clean it all with cool water.

The foam is really gentle, it barely smells (so that's a win for me) and leaves my skin really soft and with a calm sensation.

Today I want to talk to you about the fabulous website FEELUNIQUE. I discovered this website through another blogger, Inthefrow, when she made a beauty haul video where she showed every product that she got. In that moment I had to check out if they were that good and yes, they were.

Being from a small city in Spain we don't get to have loads of beauty products. We have the fortune of having a Sephora in the city but still, the city doesn't offer as many products as a mere Boots here in the UK offers. As a result of that, I decided to browse through their website and see if they had products that I couldn't get in Spain and also if the same products that I could buy here were cheaper. Also, having a free delivery spending more than 15€/£10 was more than reasonable to decide to place an order.

In my first purchase I got a "First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream" cream, a product nonexistent in Spain which has helped me a lot with some skin struggles. I have always had a sensitive skin that tends to have spots, pimples... And this skin care cream has been perfect for me. Also, thanks to this website, if you have a product in mind and are not sure about buying it or not, there's always the review section where loads of customers leave their opinions so you can decide before purchasing.

I also got some Aussie shampoos and conditioners. In Spain they are really expensive. And here they had a fantastic offer so it was a no-brainer. I got these three: "Aussie Miracle Recharge Moisture", "Aussie Colour Mate" and "Aussie Miracle Recharge Luscious Long".
The first one has helped a lot with my hair as it tends to be really dry and tangled after a shower. The second one has also made a noticeable change in my hair. I have had a dramatic ombrè in my hair for a while and my ends were a really bright blonde, almost silver, so Aussie Colour Mate Shampoo has been the perfect shampoo to maintain it. And finally, the best product of all, the Luscious Long leave-in conditioner. Having long hair it is already a struggle for lots of us but dealing also with an almost platinum blonde ends... that is a lot of work if you want to maintain it healthy. This conditioner changed my life. I have to spend less time on my hair and my crazy life is really greatful.

Finally, the last thing I got was actually a gift for myself. I always wanted to have a "Tangle Teezer" brush and since I saw the compact ones I really needed to have one. In Spain they're almost nowhere to be seen so this was my only opportunity. Also, they had been out of stock for a while so when I saw them back, I had to buy one. I chose the golden one and let me say that it is the cutest hair brush ever. It is really good that you can cover it so the bristles won't bend and also hairs won't be left in your purse or bag if you decide to take it with you.
